You take one pill, and it gives you the confidence to have sex with any woman you want. How powerful is that? It’s powerful enough that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a new medication, Vimax for treatment of the sexual dysfunction known as premature ejaculation. But before you rush out and purchase Vimax and start popping the pill to cure your premature ejaculation, read on.

What Is Premature Ejaculation?

Premature ejaculation is the premature ejaculation of semen during sexual activity, before the individual intends to ejaculate. While most men struggle with this issue for years, it has more recently become a global problem. If you’re reading this, I assume you’re curious about the effects and consequences of taking Vimax to treat premature ejaculation.

Like a lot of other problems that plague men, premature ejaculation is a multi-causational issue. It can be caused by a variety of factors including:

  • Hereditary factors (genetics)
  • Poor self-image (low self-esteem)
  • Performance anxiety (a kind of stress)
  • Depression (anxiety and depression are very common in men)
  • Erectile dysfunction (ED) causing impotence (inability to achieve or maintain an erection)
  • Ejaculation disorders (difficulty with ejaculation or retention) associated with neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis
  • Use of certain medications (e.g., antihistamines, tramadol)
  • Infections (e.g., warts, chlamydia, herpes simplex virus)
  • Vitamin deficiencies (especially in the area of vitamins B and C)
  • Alcohol use disorder (alcohol consumption may lead to a reduction in ejaculation, sexual dysfunction, and reduced fertility)

As you might imagine, given all of the potential causes of premature ejaculation, there are a variety of treatments available. While there is no one-size-fits-all approach to treating this issue, there are definitely some commonalities. One of the most effective treatments for premature ejaculation is a form of selective serotonin reuptake inhibition (SSRI), which is the kind of medication that is often prescribed for depression, anxiety disorders, and panic attacks. By blocking the reuptake of serotonin, which is the neurotransmitter that helps to regulate mood and anxiety, medications such as fluoxetine help to increase the amount of serotonin available to the brain. When used in combination with antianxiety and antidepressant medications, the benefits are usually very noticeable and pretty significant. It’s a safe assumption to say that if you’re reading this, you’re either experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression. If that’s the case, then you may benefit from a trial treatment with SSRIs. Fortunately, as I mentioned, there are other effective treatments for PE aside from medication.

How Does Vimax Work?

The good people at Vimax must have been watching a lot of porn videos because, quite simply, Vimax works by enhancing the sex drive of the user. In other words, it increases the likelihood that you’ll have an orgasm during sex. To do this, Vimax helps to improve both the quality and duration of erections by increasing the blood flow to the penis and by relaxing the muscles in the penile area. When used in combination with an antidepressant or anxiolytic medication and a sex-stimulating medication such as yohimbine, the results are usually very good and the side effects are minimal. The only commonly reported side effect is headaches, which are generally mild in nature and only occur in a small percentage of users. With proper medication management, the side effect profile of Vimax is very good.

If you’re interested in trying Vimax, be sure to consult with your physician or psychiatrist to determine if it’s the right fit for you. If you’re already taking certain medications, your physician may be able to determine if Vimax is right for you based on your medication regimen. In any case, be sure to speak with your physician about the proper dosage and how long you should use it for.

Premature Ejaculation And Self-image

There is certainly a lot of evidence to suggest that poor self-image is one of the primary causes of premature ejaculation. In a nutshell, if you think that you’re not good enough, then it’s not difficult to believe that you’ll have difficulties achieving and maintaining erection and ejaculating. As mentioned above, there are a variety of treatments for this issue, including medication and counseling. If medication isn’t for you, then you should consider pursuing counseling or a self-help manual specifically designed to help men with this issue. Remember, everybody is entitled to an opinion, but not everything is based on facts. You’re a good man with a bad dating problem and there’s nothing shameful or wrong about it. You’re not alone in this world.

Performance Anxiety And Ejaculation

If you’re looking for a way to reduce your anxiety and improve your sex drive, then you might want to consider using a performance anxiolytic such as baclofen. In combination with yohimbine, which is an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist (same as the one found in adrenal glands), the benefits of baclofen are usually fairly noticeable and can increase the likelihood of a longer-lasting erection and, ultimately, increased sexual satisfaction for both partners. The most common side effect of baclofen is drowsiness, but patients have also reported headaches and stomach aches as side effects. In rare instances, baclofen has been known to cause liver toxicity, so be sure to get your physician’s approval before using this medication.

There are lots of different explanations as to why you might have premature ejaculation. It’s important to remember that there is no single cause for this issue, but rather a combination of factors that contribute to its occurrence. Regardless of the causes, though, there are treatment options available. Medication, as you might imagine, can be very effective. So can counseling and, perhaps, a change of scenery. For some, masturbation may be an effective treatment strategy. Ultimately, it’s important to find what works best for you and your situation. You’re not alone in this world, and there are people out there who care enough to help.
