I don’t normally write fiction, but sometimes an event crosses the line between reality and fiction. This is what happened recently when my wonderful sis-in-law, Jennifer, gave her brother, Todd, some Viagra for his birthday. It was a complete shock to hear the story behind the story. You see, I always thought of Todd as this strong, silent type. He never showed emotions and took care of his sister and family no matter what. I guess he was protecting himself from showing his softer side, which is why he got the Viagra and not himself. Whatever the reason, I’m glad he got his emotions out and dealt with them, otherwise, he would’ve never been able to commit suicide in the first place. (Side note: It’s a miracle he was even able to go through with it considering his state of mind. Murder-suicide is a very rare event, especially in such a highly committed family.)
The Gift That Transformed His Life
After hearing the story behind the story, it’s no wonder why she decided to get him the Viagra. She explained that Todd had lost his job and was struggling with clinical depression. Unable to cope with his problems, he turned to alcohol. One night when he was drinking, he found himself in a fight with her husband, Brad. In the scuffle, Brad dropped dead from a heart attack. In the weeks that followed, Todd’s depression got worse. One day, he decided to end it all and committed suicide. As you can imagine, this hit Jennifer pretty hard. She decided she would do anything to prevent this from happening to her brother again and again. She promised her children that no matter what, she would take care of their father and make sure he was safe. The only way she could think of to achieve this goal was to get him Viagra so he could have strong erections and feel like a man again.
The Surprising Amount Of Research She Did
Needless to say, she did a lot of research before she decided to give her brother the Viagra. In the end, she cited a study that showed 90% of men who took part in the trial reported that the drug greatly improved their erections. Based on this data, she concluded that the benefits of the drug outweighed the risks. While her research was certainly valid, it didn’t stop there. She also checked with physicians and pharmacists to learn about side effects and drug interactions. She wanted to be sure that she was doing the right thing for her brother. In the end, she decided that the benefits outweighed the risks and gave him the drug.
This Isn’t The First Time She’s Helped A Relatively Unpopular Relative
As if this story wasn’t surprising enough, let’s not forget about the fact that it was Jennifer’s first time ever giving any sort of medicine to a relative. Aside from being a sister, she’s also an aunt and a daughter. While both of her parents are alive, they live in another state and have been estranged from Todd for many years. The only family members she’s gotten along with are her siblings and their children. This is also why she decided to give him the drug. She didn’t want to disappoint any of her nephews or nieces by not treating their father with the respect he deserves. It took some convincing, but eventually she was able to persuade her reluctant children to agree to it. It’s a good thing she did, too, because as it turned out, her brother needed the drug and her family needed to understand why she was making the decision she was. This was a huge step forward for all of them, and while it may not seem like it at first, I’m sure it will all make sense in the end.
Saving A Life Through Effective Management Of Psychiatric Symptoms
As I said at the beginning, this is a true story. It really happened. The doctors and the nurses who worked on this case were amazing. They saved a life through effective management of the patient’s psychiatric symptoms. Without their efforts, this case would’ve had a very different ending. This is a good thing, as you’ll soon learn.
It’s not that Todd didn’t deserve to live. He certainly did. He was just suffering from extremely serious depression and anxiety disorders that were keeping him from living his life. In an effort to overcome these problems, he resorted to self-destructive behavior, which is why he needed the help of doctors and nurses. It’s because of people like him that healthcare professionals are searching for new ways to treat depression and anxiety disorders. We’re also searching for new ways to prevent suicide, and while some people may question whether or not Viagra will help, I think we can all agree that it’s at least worth a try.
As it turns out, I was actually wrong about one thing. He never did use the Viagra. He made that choice, not because he was ashamed of what happened but because he wanted to be sure that his family would understand what was going on. He didn’t want them to feel bad about themselves because he couldn’t bring himself to tell them the truth. I think that’s a very brave choice. I can’t imaging what it must’ve been like to feel so ashamed that you won’t even tell your own family. He did, however, experience a noticeable difference in his sexual function after taking the Viagra. This was really the main reason he decided to try the drug. He knew that it would help with his erections, and while this may not sound like much, it means a lot to a man who’s feeling less than masculine due to depression and anxiety. Having orgasms is an important element of any man’s life, and I’m sure it would go a long way in helping him feel more comfortable expressing himself. Also, since his siblings agreed to help, this made him feel less alone in this struggle and helped him see the brighter side of things. He felt a lot better once he started taking the drug and even attended his high school reunion a few months later. While he did eventually get his sexual appetite back, he never tried to have sex with other women again. This case is a great example of how effective treatment can turn things around for the better. It gave him a new lease on life, and while he may still struggle from time to time, he’s able to live a much more satisfying life than he ever would’ve imagined possible. This is why I say managing his depression and anxiety was the key to helping him get better. Without a doubt, this was the best gift she could’ve given him.
