A crush on a celebrity is always a good idea. You may meet them in person or see them on TV, and you can imagine how charming they may be. However, sometimes you may wonder if these celebrity crushes are as good as they seem. Maybe they’re not as talented as they appear, or maybe they’re just as crazy as everyone says they are. In fact, sometimes these celebrity crushes can backfire and cause you more harm than good. That’s why it’s important to examine each one closely before getting involved. In this article, we’ll tell you about some celebrities that may not be as appealing as they appear. These are the celebrities that might just ruin your life.

The Dictators

If you’ve ever watched movies with a strong historical component, you may know that sometimes the protagonists of those stories go on a rampage and commit all kinds of despicable acts. However, most of the time, these protagonists are just like you or me, and they’re trying to live their lives and achieve their goals. The problem is that sometimes they fail, and in those cases it’s better to run away from them as quickly as possible. With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the worst atrocities committed by some of the most famous dictators in history. It’s pretty disturbing stuff.

General Zod

A glimpse of General Zod is all you need to know about this guy. The General is the bad guy from the movie Superman Returns. Let’s not forget that he was also responsible for the death of General Swanwick, which was totally intentional. What better way to get back at the Man of Steel than by killing his best friend? Even more disturbing is the part where we discover that General Zod was originally from Krypton. His father, Jor-El, was an accomplished scientist who worked for a great number of years in a research lab studying genetic splicing. Jor-El believed that every being’s genetic code could be reconstructed and that all diseases could be eradicated. Unfortunately, his work was deemed too advanced for their time, and the people in charge sent him away. Later, after Zod’s father broke one of the rules and tried to mate with a human female, he was thrown in prison, where he died a year later of old age. It seems like a cruel and uncalled for death, especially since Jor-El was a perfectly sound, moral man who never posed a danger to anyone. It’s obvious that General Zod’s whole character was developed out of a need to create a scary, intimidating villain that women could swoon over. Even though they’re made of plastic, they still scare the crap out of me. It’s an incredible achievement, considering that the General is just a doll. When you put him down on his back, he can’t even sit up by himself. You’ll have to move him around every few minutes until he decides to sit up again because he’s out of batteries.

Hitler

Speaking of dolls, let’s not forget about Hitler. Yes, the same guy from the Simpsons, The Office and other places where cartoons come from. This is the most popular topic on the internet when it comes to Adolf Hitler. People create these detailed doll costumes and accessories to wear while they taunt and mock those whose lives were ruined by this madman. Let’s not kid ourselves here, most of us would love to see ourselves as the subject of a cruel dictatorship. Fortunately, we’re not, so we can safely enjoy these elaborate costumes while knowing that one day, we will wake up and live our lives in peace.

Etc., Etc.

There are many other villains whose names I’ve forgotten who were responsible for a lot of havoc. There was a Japanese villain from a cartoon named Gosei, and others whose names I can’t remember now. Suffice it to say, that these people were bad news. We can’t forget about The Joker either, who was responsible for the death of many people, including the entire Batman family. However, if we can’t forget about these evil characters, it’s because they were fascinating and highly influential in their time. In many cases, the protagonists learn a valuable lesson from their monstrous dictatorships and use that knowledge to better themselves and humanity as a whole. Sometimes, those who learn the most from these historical villains become exactly like them. It’s a sad but true reality. So, while we might want to live vicariously through the villains of history, we have to be careful not to become like them. We have to find a better reason to celebrate Halloween than to be frightened of the bogeyman. For now, let’s leave it at that. We don’t want to give too much away. Let’s just say that sometimes the bad guys really are bad, and sometimes they’re not. It all depends on the situation and the people involved. The only way we’ll know for sure if they’re up to no good or are just following a bad example is by closely examining each one of them individually.

Conclusion

I hope you now have a pretty good idea of what kind of person you’ll be dealing with if you decide to go ahead with the crush. The bad news is that sometimes these charismatic individuals can turn out to be total jerks. Of course, that depends on the circumstances and the people involved. Sometimes they can be really sweet and charming individuals who happen to be terrible people. It’s all about examining each one closely before forming an opinion. Nevertheless, if you decide that you want to give this celebrity crush a try, you’ll need to be prepared to deal with their eccentricities and see them for what they really are. Just remember that these individuals were responsible for a lot of harm and suffering in the world. Sometimes it’s better to stay away from them completely, or at least, stay very far away. However, sometimes it’s also a good idea to look into their eyes and see who you’re dealing with. Hopefully, you’ll learn something from that encounter and won’t be harmed in any way. Sometimes these celebrity crushes can be a good thing, even though it may not seem like it at first. It all depends on the situation and the people involved. We want to keep things positive here, so instead of focusing on the negative, let’s talk about the good things these historical characters did for society. There’s always two sides to every story, and we have to look at what happened from both perspectives. Some might see Hitler’s atrocities and Zod’s cruelty as a positive thing, and maybe they’re right. It all depends on the situation and the people involved. That’s the beauty of being a real-life example, sometimes you don’t know exactly what kind of person you’re dealing with until it’s too late. Then it’s already too late. These historical villains have influenced many people, and although some may agree with their methods, most still condemn them. It’s a very interesting and often disturbing subject, but at least it’s always educational. I hope this article taught you something new about these historical figures, and maybe, even about yourself. Maybe you’ll reconsider some of your previous assumptions about them. Even more important, it might just open up a new perspective about yourself. Maybe you won’t feel that you have to behave like them, because you’ll realize that you’re not really like them. At least, not entirely. Sometimes we don’t realize our own strength and how far we can go without getting into any kind of trouble. It takes a bit of introspection and courage to look at ourselves honestly, without prejudice or presumption. So, while we might want to avoid these people and what they represent, it might be a good idea to look into their stories and see what we can learn from them. After all, they’re still human, and they’re all us. Sometimes we need to look into ourselves and see the good, the bad, and the ugly inside ourselves. Then we’ll be able to deal with it and move on. Sometimes it’s healthy to be afraid – who knows, maybe you’ll even learn from it.
